Custom Polyurethane Coated Roller features a wear-resistant polyurethane outer layer and a precision metal core with optional bearing configurations. It is suitable for conveying, driving, guiding, pressing and supporting applications where controlled friction, cushioning, reduced noise and workpiece protection are required.
Custom Polyurethane Coated Roller combines an elastic polyurethane outer layer with a precision-machined metal core, bearing seat or installed bearing. The polyurethane coating provides controlled friction, cushioning and surface protection, while the internal metal structure supports the roller under continuous rotational loads.
The roller can be manufactured according to customer drawings, samples or equipment installation requirements. Its outside diameter, coating thickness, roller width, center bore, bearing configuration, hardness, surface finish and dimensional tolerance can all be adjusted for the intended operating conditions.
The outer working surface is coated with polyurethane elastomer. Compared with direct metal-to-metal contact, the elastic coating helps absorb impact, reduce operating noise and minimize scratches or pressure marks on conveyed materials.
The internal core may be produced from carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum alloy according to the required load, corrosion resistance and equipment weight. Available center structures include plain bores, stepped bores, keyed bores, threaded holes, bearing seats, installed bearings and shaft-mounted designs.
After coating, the roller surface can be machined or ground to the required outside diameter, width, concentricity and surface condition. Grooves, crowns, chamfers, flanges and other functional structures can also be added when required.
Custom Polyurethane Coated Roller products are commonly used as conveyor rollers, drive rollers, guide rollers, pressure rollers, support rollers, pinch rollers and positioning wheels. Typical equipment includes conveyor systems, packaging machinery, printing machinery, coating and laminating lines, woodworking equipment, steel processing machinery and automated production lines.

Before production, the roller diameter, working width, coating thickness, shaft or bore size, bearing model, operating load, rotational speed, temperature, contact medium and required surface condition should be confirmed. These parameters directly affect material selection, coating hardness and the connection between the polyurethane layer and metal core.
Our
CNC Plastic Machining
service supports machining from drawings or physical samples. Both individual replacement rollers and batch production orders can be arranged, with key dimensions, bearing seats, surface quality and batch consistency inspected before delivery.
Polyurethane is a broad group of polymers that can be formulated into materials with different structures and applications. Basic material information is available from

Please provide a technical drawing, sample or clear dimensional information when requesting a quotation. Important details include the outside diameter, roller width, center bore or shaft size, bearing model, coating thickness, polyurethane hardness, operating speed, load, temperature and quantity.
The coating formulation must be selected according to the actual working environment. For applications involving high temperatures, oils, solvents, acids, alkalis or prolonged outdoor exposure, the operating conditions should be confirmed before material selection.
Check drawings for full specifications and confirm materials according to service conditions to prevent product defects.
Inspect all key processing steps and fully verify dimensions, holes, grooves and fitting surfaces.
Deburr, chamfer and clean products for easy installation. Ensure uniform quality among batch products.
Choose appropriate packaging solutions based on product features to protect goods from collision, deformation and mixing during transit.
Unlike metal parts, engineering plastic components still require strict control over dimensions, holes, edges, surface, materials and assembly performance for equipment use.
Engineering plastic parts suit friction, guide, support, buffer, anti-corrosion and insulation areas. We supply UHMWPE, POM, PA, PP/PE components for conveyor, food, mining, machinery, chemical and cable systems, with custom OEM service available.
