Green PE Rod for Industrial Machined Components

Green PE Rod is a green polyethylene round bar used as machining stock for industrial components requiring low moisture absorption, chemical resistance, impact resistance and corrosion-free operation. Depending on the required rigidity, wear resistance, friction performance and service conditions, the rod may be manufactured from HDPE, UHMWPE or another specified polyethylene grade.

The green color is normally produced by adding a suitable colorant to the polyethylene material. It can be used for visual identification, production-line classification or equipment color coding. Green color alone does not identify the exact PE grade and does not automatically indicate food-contact, antistatic, conductive, UV-resistant or flame-retardant performance. These properties must be confirmed through grade-specific technical documentation.

CNC Machining of Green PE Rod

Green PE Rod can be processed by CNC turning, milling, drilling, boring, cutting, grooving, tapping and chamfering. Our CNC Plastic Machining service supports sample production and batch manufacturing according to customer drawings, physical samples and equipment requirements.

Sharp cutting tools, suitable feed rates and controlled cutting temperatures are recommended when machining polyethylene. Excessive cutting heat or clamping pressure may cause burr formation, local deformation or dimensional variation.

Long rods and thin-wall components should be adequately supported during machining. For precision components, machining allowance, installation clearance, wall thickness and support structure should be determined according to the selected PE grade and actual working conditions.

  • Green PE rod may be manufactured from HDPE, UHMWPE or another PE grade.
  • Green color alone cannot identify the base polymer or molecular weight.
  • Green color does not automatically indicate food-contact compliance.
