It offers good abrasion resistance, smooth running performance, low operating noise and reduced external lubrication requirements. Reference diameters range from 15 mm to 150 mm, with a reference length of 1000 mm. CNC machining is available for bushings, gears, rollers, guide blocks, pulleys and other industrial components.</p>
Oil-Filled Nylon Rod is a green self-lubricating cast PA6 round bar modified with an internally distributed lubricant. It is designed for sliding, bearing and wear applications where frequent external lubrication is difficult, inconvenient or undesirable.
Compared with standard unmodified cast nylon, the lubricated material can provide smoother sliding performance, reduced friction, lower stick-slip tendency and less frequent maintenance when correctly selected for the operating conditions. The lubricant is distributed throughout the material rather than applied only to the surface, allowing the machined component to maintain its lubricating characteristics after turning, milling or drilling.
