Blue PE Rod is a blue polyethylene round bar for machining bushings, rollers, guide blocks, wear pads, conveyor guides and other industrial components. It offers low moisture absorption, chemical resistance, impact resistance and corrosion-free operation. Reference sizes shown in the supplied image include selected diameters from Ø15 to Ø200 mm, with a reference length of 1000 mm. The exact HDPE, UHMWPE or modified PE grade should be confirmed according to the intended application.
Blue PE Rod is a blue polyethylene round bar used as machining stock for industrial components requiring low moisture absorption, chemical resistance, impact resistance and corrosion-free operation. Depending on the required rigidity, wear performance, friction characteristics and working environment, the rod may be manufactured from HDPE, UHMWPE or another specified polyethylene grade.
The blue color is normally produced by adding a suitable colorant to the polyethylene material. It can help identify different production lines, component types, material batches or equipment zones. However, blue color alone does not determine the exact polyethylene grade and does not automatically indicate food-contact compliance, antistatic performance, conductivity, UV resistance or flame retardancy. These properties must be confirmed through grade-specific technical documents and test reports.

Polyethylene is a thermoplastic polymer family available in several grades with different densities, molecular weights and performance characteristics. General material information is available from Wikipedia’s Polyethylene explanation. Additional information about the high-molecular-weight grade is available from Wikipedia’s UHMWPE explanation.
Blue PE Rod can be machined into conveying, packaging, automation and general industrial machinery components, including:
The appropriate polyethylene grade should be selected according to mechanical load, sliding speed, operating temperature, chemical exposure, mating material, dimensional tolerance and expected service life.
UHMWPE may be selected where wear resistance, impact resistance and low-friction performance are important. HDPE may be considered where greater rigidity, structural support and conventional machining characteristics are required.
The following dimensions are based on the product options displayed in the supplied reference image. They are intended for product presentation and preliminary size selection rather than guaranteed inventory.

Size notice: The listed dimensions are reference product options taken from the supplied image. Although the displayed range extends from Ø15 to Ø200 mm, the image does not show every intermediate diameter. For example, Ø170 mm and Ø190 mm are not displayed and should not be treated as regular reference options unless separately confirmed.
Actual stock, diameter, length, PE grade, color, surface condition, straightness, machining allowance, dimensional tolerance, minimum order quantity and delivery time should be confirmed before production. Other diameters and cut lengths can be evaluated according to drawings and actual operating requirements.
Blue PE Rod can be processed by CNC turning, milling, drilling, boring, cutting, grooving, tapping and chamfering. Our CNC Plastic Machining service supports sample production and batch manufacturing according to customer drawings, physical samples and equipment requirements.
Sharp cutting tools, suitable feed rates and controlled cutting temperatures are recommended when machining polyethylene. Excessive cutting heat or clamping pressure may cause burr formation, local deformation or dimensional variation.
Long rods, thin-wall sleeves and large-diameter components should be adequately supported during machining. For precision components, machining allowance, installation clearance, wall thickness and support structure should be determined according to the selected PE grade and actual working conditions.
Blue PE Rod is suitable for customers requiring machinable polyethylene stock with low moisture absorption, chemical resistance, impact resistance and clear color identification. The PE grade, rod diameter, length, tolerance and finished component structure should be selected according to the actual operating conditions.
Check drawings for full specifications and confirm materials according to service conditions to prevent product defects.
Inspect all key processing steps and fully verify dimensions, holes, grooves and fitting surfaces.
Deburr, chamfer and clean products for easy installation. Ensure uniform quality among batch products.
Choose appropriate packaging solutions based on product features to protect goods from collision, deformation and mixing during transit.
Unlike metal parts, engineering plastic components still require strict control over dimensions, holes, edges, surface, materials and assembly performance for equipment use.
Engineering plastic parts suit friction, guide, support, buffer, anti-corrosion and insulation areas. We supply UHMWPE, POM, PA, PP/PE components for conveyor, food, mining, machinery, chemical and cable systems, with custom OEM service available.
