Blue PP Sheet is a lightweight and chemical-resistant polypropylene board used for equipment panels, tank components, partitions, protective covers and CNC-machined parts. Reference full-sheet sizes include 1000 × 2000 mm and 1220 × 2440 mm. The blue thickness options shown in the supplied image range from 3 to 20 mm, and multiple square or rectangular cut sizes are available as reference options. Final size, thickness, colour and tolerance should be confirmed before production.
Blue PP Sheet is a blue polypropylene plastic sheet used for industrial equipment, chemical processing systems, tank components, protective panels, partitions and custom-machined plastic parts. It combines the lightweight structure, low moisture absorption, corrosion resistance and practical fabrication performance of polypropylene with a clearly identifiable blue appearance.
The blue colour can be used for equipment colour matching, production-area identification, material classification or visual management. Compared with conventional white, natural or grey polypropylene boards, Blue PP Sheet provides a distinctive appearance while retaining the general processing characteristics of polypropylene.
The colour itself does not indicate a special material grade. Blue polypropylene sheet should not automatically be described as food grade, flame retardant, anti-static, electrically conductive or UV resistant unless the selected resin formulation and relevant technical documents support those properties.
Blue PP Sheet offers a practical balance of lightweight construction, chemical resistance and easy fabrication. It can be supplied as a complete sheet, a cut-to-size panel or a finished machined component according to drawings.
The actual mechanical properties, chemical resistance and service temperature depend on the polypropylene resin grade, pigment system, additives, sheet thickness and production process. Material compatibility should be evaluated according to the chemical medium, concentration, operating temperature, exposure time and mechanical load.
According to the supplied product-size image, the commonly listed full-sheet sizes for Blue PP Sheet include 1000 × 2000 mm and 1220 × 2440 mm. The following combinations should be treated as reference specifications rather than guaranteed stock for every order.
The 1220 × 2440 × 3 mm option appears unavailable or inactive in the supplied listing, so it should not be presented as a guaranteed stock specification. Final availability must be confirmed according to the production schedule, quantity and selected material grade.
The colour-specific section of the supplied image shows the following reference thicknesses for Blue PP Sheet:
These thicknesses represent general blue PP sheet options shown in the image. They do not mean that every thickness is regularly available in both 1000 × 2000 mm and 1220 × 2440 mm formats. The sheet size, thickness, colour, tolerance, quantity and production availability should be confirmed before ordering.
Thinner sheets are generally selected for linings, light-duty covers, partitions and protective panels. Medium and thicker sheets may be used for equipment panels, support boards, welded structures and CNC-machined components requiring greater rigidity.
The supplied image also shows multiple square and rectangular cut-size options. Since these dimensions are displayed with a zero-thickness placeholder, they should be understood as reference length-and-width combinations. The required thickness must be selected separately.
Special rectangular panels, strips, blocks, holes, grooves and shaped components can also be processed according to drawings. Final dimensional tolerance should be agreed before production, particularly when the sheet will be used for precision assembly or CNC-machined parts.
Blue PP Sheet can be used for general industrial fabrication, chemical equipment, water-treatment systems, automation equipment and machine manufacturing. Typical applications include:
For chemical-service applications, the polypropylene grade should be evaluated against the actual chemical medium. Resistance to one acid, alkali or cleaning solution does not guarantee suitability for every solvent, oxidising chemical, concentration or operating temperature.
Blue PP Sheet can be processed by sawing, cutting, drilling, milling, routing, grooving, slotting, chamfering, turning and CNC machining. It may also be fabricated into tanks, covers, ducts, housings and assembled equipment using suitable polypropylene welding techniques.
When welding blue polypropylene structures, a compatible polypropylene welding rod should be selected. Differences in resin grade or pigment formulation may cause visible colour variation between the welding rod and the sheet surface.
For CNC-machined parts, drawings should identify the overall dimensions, thickness, holes, slots, tolerances, fitting surfaces and installation requirements. Polypropylene has lower stiffness and greater thermal expansion than many metals, so the design should provide suitable support and installation clearance.
The exact shade of Blue PP Sheet may vary slightly between raw-material batches, pigment formulations, sheet thicknesses, production processes and lighting conditions. When strict colour consistency is required, a physical sample or agreed colour reference should be confirmed before batch production.
Special requirements such as food-contact compliance, flame retardancy, anti-static performance, electrical conductivity or outdoor UV resistance require the corresponding modified polypropylene grade. These characteristics cannot be determined from the blue appearance alone.
